11/3/06 Show - Reggae/Dub vs. Punk/Post-Punk

The Rumble in the Jungle. Long before Vanilla Ice, long before Eminem, punks were the 1st generation of whities that attempted to co-opt what was considered an extremely black form of music. Sure, they may not have been as good and talented as Vanilla Ice but I think but I think the integration of reggae and dub into punk and post-punk music left us with some great songs. It also gave the genre a moist towellette of freshness.

I think you will see more of the same type of thinking when it comes to offshore banking, offshore corporations, offshore foundations, offshore stock brokerage accounts etc.
