Madchester Show - 2/16/09

A fusion of late 60s psychedelic pop and late 80s acid house dance rhythms, Madchester was the dominant musical force in Great Britain for a fine couple of years. I tried to boil those years down to a fine couple of hours on tonight's show. Download below:

American Early 60s Influence Show - 2/9/09

Motown, Northern Soul, Girl Group, Doo Wop, Baroque Pop, and Brill Building Pop all had their influence on the sound of punk, post-punk, new wave, and their descendants. Another wonderful case of music making for strange bedfellows and that was the theme of tonight's show. Click on the link to download and its yours for the listening.

Ohs, Whoas, and Oohs Show - 2/2/09

The second best 3 words in the English language and some of the greatest utensils in rock 'n' roll's awesome set of tools. Ohs, whoas, and oohs are like putting bacon on a song and if it's already got bacon on it, like Applewood-smoked cocaine bacon. Have a listen to what I believe are the finest songs ever to "Oh" by following this link below, which in this case is almost like a sausage link:
